Events May 4-6, 2009 Grace on the Mountain - relax, rejuvenate, rejoice - celebrating the joy of the Lord Philippians 4:8 "Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things." This Christian retreat is designed for women to come and renew their spirit in this lovely setting and to go home with more joy. It is also our way of letting you experience our facility and learn if it would be a good setting for your next retreat with your own church or a family reunion. Two nights lodging, 6 meals, group discussions of joy, hands on crafts, wildflower walks, praise and worship, and lots of relaxation and fresh air. July 26th - August 8th, 2009 Children's Festival Days Bring the kids and kick back while they make new friends, roast marshmallows, enjoy crafts and hiking. There's lots of room to play. We'll also go on some outings for the whole family like swimming or tubing on the refreshing South Toe River, hiking on Mt Mitchell, or other attractions upon request. The Gem Festival in Spruce Pine is the first weekend in August as well as the Crafts Fair in neighboring Burnsville. There's alot to choose from.
